The Scout Association

This window was commissioned by The Scout Association to celebrate the Centenary of Scouting in 2007. The window is one of several stained glass windows, both old and modern, in the 18th & 19th Century headquarters of The Scout Association at Gilwell Park.
The brief was to keep the window simple, but to use the Centenary ‘flying dove’ symbol. I also incorporated other elements of the Centenary logo, as well as the Scout trefoil. The colours used are the blue and yellow from the Centenary logo, plus the Scout purple.
